:: Cosmetic Options

Please give our office a call to schedule your whitening procedure – a brighter smile is waiting for you!

A bright smile is a confident smile.  Advancements in dental care provide an array of options to deliver dazzling results. Dr. Eagan and Dr. Wills will be happy to discuss which cosmetic procedure is best for you.

Top Cosmetic Dental Treatments Include:

.: Whitening – Teeth become discolored over time due to any number of reasons; among them are staining agents such as tea, coffee, and tobacco.  The teeth whitening procedure is the most commonly prescribed treatment to correct discoloration by removing the staining and improving the brightness of the teeth.  The most effective whitening technique is the at-home teeth whitening system.  American Dental Professionals will create a custom whitening tray.  This tray is critical to the effectiveness of the system, it ensures the prescribed amount of solution is used and is evenly distributed on the patient’s teeth.  By using a stronger solution for only 20-30 minutes twice a day, patients generally have less sensitivity than other whitening systems.  We will do a shade check after a week of whitening to monitor your progress.  Patients who would like to boost their whitening process may request an in-office treatment to compliment their at-home treatment

The Whitening Trays are yours to keep.  Additional whitening gel is available for purchase at our office.

.: Bonding – Bonding is a composite resin filling and can be used on the back teeth as well as the front teeth. Bonding is often prescribed for restoring decayed teeth, changing the color of your teeth or the reshaping of teeth. It can be used to close up minor gaps and correct crooked teeth. Teeth that become chipped or cracked are often repaired with bonding.

Bonding traditionally lasts between five to seven years.

.: Veneers or Lumineers™ A cure for severely discolored teeth, chipped teeth, teeth with pits, or misshaped teeth.  Veneers are a very popular procedure that requires little or no anesthesia.  Veneers, thin pieces of porcelain or plastic, are bonded over the front of your teeth.  In some cases, veneers can even close gaps or correct the appearance of crowded or overlapped teeth.

Veneers can be sucessfully prepared and applied in just two or three weeks.  They can give you a smile that looks clean, healthy, straight, and even glamourous!

Lumineers™ offer the beauty of veneers but with minimal drilling and minimal loss of tooth enamel.

Veneers and Lumineers™ typically last between eight to fifteen years.
